When students graduate from school, their entry into the world should be so smooth that nary a ripple should mar the transition from adolescence to adulthood; it should be so impactful that it touches the lives of multitudes; and it should be so unique that it remains etched in the minds of those who revelled in it.

This is the dream that we at EPS have for our students. We want to prepare them so that they can face challenges with aplomb and accept success with humility. We want them to experience the real joy of living not just obtain a vicarious knowledge of it through books. We want them to be known as honourable players and not just winners, as wise and not just intelligent, as understanding and not just knowledgeable, as kind and compassionate and not just friendly.

Life at EPS is an exciting journey which begins when children enter its portals and step into the intricate domain of the scholar. Along with mastery of the various areas of academics, we encourage them to enjoy and excel in sports and other co-curricular activities. They are guided to learn the art of governance by organising events and donning the mantle of student leaders. They are taught to be independent in thought, but to act within the framework of decorum and respect for others.

We applaud those high achievers who bring fame to the school with their achievements in scholastic and non-scholastic areas. But it is those students who embody the values of selflessness, tolerance, honesty and integrity who are remembered much after they have left school and who leave an indelible imprint in the annals of the history of the school for they have chosen a far more arduous path to follow; one of self-discipline, which is replete with principles an ordinary person may find difficult to follow. This is who a true Dipsite is: A student who has the ability to triumph in any field he chooses and whose exemplary values place him far above the others in his area of expertise. It matters that the alumni of EPS become trailblazers and that our students bring laurels to the school, but what matters more is that they be good human beings.

I conclude with a message for my students: Whatever is done must be done with passion for only in that lies perfection. Never let fear or embarrassment keep you from participating in activities that interest you for it is only in school that you can actually discover your hidden talents and find the real you. The deepest regret in life is always for not doing what you wanted to. Let that not become a part of you. Also never betray the trust of someone for that is the most fragile and precious bond of all. Once broken, it can never be salvaged. Above all, never get so involved in what you are doing that you forget to enjoy yourselves. The secret of your success lies in your own happiness and wellbeing.

Evergreen Public School

The Evergreen Public School hold the core values Child Centric, Innovation, Mutual Respect and Commitment to Excellence firmly which form the foundation on which we perform and conduct ourselves.

Elementary  School

Covering Aarambh (Nursery), Neev I (K.G. - I), Neev II (K.G. - II) and Nirmaan (Class - I), the elementary school adopts a non-formal approach to learning. Children here are encouraged to explore their environment while also being taught basic concepts in language, mathematics, computers, art and craft , dance and music. Activities at this level are designed to develop fine motor skills and enhance sensory development with an integration of physical education through trained personnel. In a nurturing environment they would develop an awareness of themselves as responsible and capable learners for the first time. In the elementary school there are no examinations. Teachers evaluations and assessments are continuous and ongoing and are deemed sufficient to mark student's progress.

Junior  school

Spanning classes II - V, the junior school is the child's introduction to full day school, 7:45 a.m to 2:50 p.m. This stage of school aims to build on the child's growing spirit of discovery and exploration. Emphasis is placed on the acquisition of sound language skills, mathematical concepts and scientific fundamentals. Regular project work enables students to gain awareness and in-depth knowledge. The children are encouraged to develop good study habits and a love for learning. There are no formal tests in junior school. Appraisal of a child's progress is based on Continuous Assessment & day to day observation in the class, worksheets, participation in activities, C.W. & H.W.

Middle  School

Comprising classes VI to VIII, this stage sees the introduction of a third language, sanskrit, as well the detailing of history, geography, physics, chemistry and biology as separate subjects and all the excitement of their first examination.

Senior  School

Comprising classes IX to X, the senior school is where early life's lessons are put to test. Rigorous practice and study techniques with special emphasis on analysis and conceptualization are woven into the curriculum, as students prepare to appear for their board examinations.

A regular assessment of student's work is considered crucial in the educational process. Progress is discussed with both parents and students. In Elementary and Junior school the assessment is based on class work, homework, projects, worksheets and detailed progress reports are made by the teacher. While in the middle school, we follow (formative) continuous assessments throughout the year, there are two summative assessments, one in each term. Senior school assessments have been organized following the Council guidelines.

Exams are the way to test student's knowledge. Exams and test help the student's concentrate in their studies, learn their lessons properly and to enhance the real skills, talents and knowledge. It is the way to express their real knowledge and ability in the written form. It teaches a lot of things and gives training on various things like punctuality, writing skills, and timing sense, expressing our thoughts and opinions and so on. In the senior school we have regular exams Continuous Assessment, Initiations, Half yearly, Trials, Pre - boards and finals.
