World Population Day Assembly by Ashoka House
World Population day is an annual event, observed on July 11 every year, which seeks to raise awareness of global population issues. The event was established by the Governing Council of the United Nations Development Programme in 1989. It was inspired by the public interest in Five Billion Day on July 11, 1987, the approximate date on which the world's population reached five billion people. World Population Day aims to increase people's awareness on various population issues such as the importance of family planning, gender equality, poverty, maternal health and human rights. The Ashoka House presented a skit throwing light on the need of family planning in India.

Earth Day Assembly by Pratap House
Our Earth is special, there is just one. Therefore, let’s make every day an Earth Day! An assembly on Earth Day was showcased with a lot of exuberance and zest by the children of Pratap House on 28th April 2018 . They emphasized on planting more trees, conserving water, wisely using these judicious resources and fighting the demons of the environment. The assembly was well led by the children who were dressed up as the Mother Earth, water, animals, trees, rivers & environment-friendly angels namely dustbin, broom, paper bag, and trees, motivating to restrict the usage of things which pollutes our Mother Earth. Last but not the least, the efficient orators spoke on trending scenarios of the environment, the famous “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” and the importance of “3 R’s.”
